Are you ready to experience a magical March? For the most part, the energy is effervescent as Pisces season takes over fluidly and effortlessly. It can be the perfect month for manifesting through visualizing! As the month unfolds, the old astrological year will come to an end as Aries season awakens our inner fire. Aside from this, there aren’t any retrogrades or eclipses to look forward to. All in all, March should be relatively easygoing!
Major Transits
Beginning on March 2, there is a mystical new moon in Pisces. Over the next six months, the lunar energy will explore and develop Pisces-related concepts throughout this cycle. Throughout the new chapter, Pisces and 12th House aspects will come to fruition in a seemingly fluid manner. Effervescent compassion and love will be brimming throughout this lunar cycle. As hopeful as the energy is, it can also be misleading. Pisces energy tends to be incredibly optimistic, but possible to the point of delusion. Wavering between fantasy and reality will be prominent throughout this cycle. Hidden talents and weaknesses may surface as well, offering the collective a chance to embrace their subconscious undertones with grace. Discovering a deeper, more secluded aspect of ourselves will be inevitable. But believing it, accepting it, loving it – that will be another question altogether. To honor the lunar energy, I suggest a bedtime ritual. Take a relaxing shower, journal, meditate, drink chamomile tea. Wear your favorite cozy pajamas and even make a point to turn off your electronics 30 minutes before heading to bed. Winding down for bedtime to honor the sweet escape of sleep can be a wonderful way to honor the dreamy Pisces energy.
As the new moon will be conjunct Jupiter and Neptune throughout its lunar transit, it will be an especially potent lunar catalyst! Jupiter can expand, grow, and grace the potential within this transit. Manifestations, visualizations, and downloads will be particularly strong. Since Neptune also impacts the lunar energy, you may find that your dreams carry the strongest symbology for what is to come!

Towards the end of the week, both Venus and Mars will leave Capricorn for Aquarius on March 6! Although each planet is still reporting to stern Saturn, they are also now reporting to electric Uranus. Since both transits occur within minutes of one another, they also conjunct each other at an auspicious 0 degrees. This is the second time within weeks of the cosmic lovers meeting up for a second kiss! Although Saturn is still an underlying power player, Uranus can also have its moment. Somewhat serious, somewhat freaky, the lover planets can enjoy the unique conjunction. Romance is likely taking a more platonic mindset as couples and singles may be focused on the core foundation of any relationship – friendship. No matter your relationship status, the conjunction encourages you to prioritize a solid mental connection within any relationship so that the butterflies don’t get in the way of considering the future of each relationship. Beauty and art are going to be funky! The conjunction will encourage us to express ourselves in a pure, revolutionary manner. Wear bright colors, buy the craziest piece of art you can find, listen to a different genre of music. Experiment with style, aesthetics, and coordination! Getting out of an artistic comfort zone will come naturally during the conjunction. Finally, sex is going to be full of quirks and oddities. Talking about and exploring sexual desires will come naturally. It may be easier to finally talk about your favorite genre of porn, buy an outlandish sex toy, or get your partner on board with role play. Openminded and radical, the sexual energy of the conjunction is no stranger to oddities, eccentricities, and quirks!
Outside of the conjunction, Venus in Aquarius is an experimental zone for Venus to be in. Although still reporting to Saturn, Venus also reports to the higher mind, Uranus, now. Together, both Saturn and Uranus encourage Venus to consider its responsibility to exploration in love, beauty, aesthetics, and money. Venus in Aquarius entertains a funky love, usually opting for an atypical or unconventional romantic style. Throughout this transit, those waiting in the friend zone may finally get their time to shine as Venus in Aquarius prioritizes friendship as the core foundation in a romantic relationship. Since Venus is open to weird relationships, this could be the perfect time to date someone out of your usual type or try a different style of dating, such as being in an open relationship. Independent and self-assured, Venus in Aquarius will highlight how two people can function as individuals without becoming codependent on one another. Although the romance is cooled throughout Venus in Aquarius, there is a resurgence for acceptance, open-mindedness, and friendship. It can be a fantastic transit to solidify partnership dynamics! Beauty and art take on a unique look. Venus in Aquarius prefers a hip, personalized style. Social media and pop culture will likely take to modern accents throughout this Venusian transit. A fantastic example of a rising pop culture style is the Euphoria nails and make-up trends. Trendy, glittery, and wholly individualized, these trends are all over every major social media app. So, if you have been waiting to try out a new style of interior design, art, make-up, hair, or clothes, then find your inspiration throughout this Venusian transit! Finally, money takes on a modern stance. Venus in Aquarius isn’t afraid of unconventional financial ventures, such as a semi-structured budget that only works person to person or technological investments. With transit Venus in Aquarius and Uranus in Taurus, there could be a heightened desire to collect, sell, and make NFTs or other online art businesses. Aside from this, cryptocurrency will likely be the main monetary trend.
Finally, Mars in Aquarius is reporting to Saturn and Uranus as well. Saturn can steer Mars in the right direction towards responsible action, but Uranus is still an electric undertone of energy that fuels Mars. This energy is similar to the energizer bunny commercials! Between Saturn and Uranus, Mars in Aquarius is responsible, loyal, yet highly individualistic in its course of action. Ambition isn’t taken lightly since fixed Aquarius will be committed once it has set its mind on something. So, Mars in Aquarius can be extremely persevering when it has set its sights on a goal, plan, or aspiration. The approach to reaching a long-term goal will be dynamic and personalized. Mars in Aquarius will march to the beat of its drum come hell or high water. However, the catch is that Mars in Aquarius may not be open to any opposing views or help. Although it has the potential to be open-minded, the fixed aspect of Mars in Aquarius can become dogmatic and stubborn. So, it could easily snub varying opinions, help, or other courses of action. Mars in Aquarius may also fixate on its steps to get to where it wants to be, refusing a slightly different approach or mindset. Just remember that Aquarius is the friend to humanity, so use this Martian energy to lean on that community for support, guidance, and help instead of acting overly stubborn! Since the air-led Mars is cooled, anger and aggression may not be imminent. Mars in Aquarius is a slow-burn as the fixed energy is slow to anger. Since Aquarius is often hailed as detached and cold, Mars may not feel overly angry throughout this transit. However, if Mars in Aquarius has decided to act on its anger, then good luck! Abrasive and chilling, Mars in Aquarius will not hesitate to bring the emotionally vapid beatdown of a lifetime. Anger is calculated, harsh, and stern. So, try to steer clear from any fights during this transit, especially since it would have to take a special case of bullshit to rile Mars in Aquarius. Sexually, the chilly demeanor persists. Mars is not passionate or ardent in Aquarius. If anything, Mars in Aquarius can be a little sexually awkward. This isn’t a flirty, Casanova energy. It’s more nerdy, distant, and intellectual. Mars in Aquarius will prioritize witty flirting, open-mindedness, and quirks in a sensual scene. So, this could be the perfect transit to openly explore a sexually liberating relationship, like a friends-with-benefits. It could also be the right transit for deepening your sexual relationships through exploring each other’s weird fantasies, sexual eccentricities, and atypical kinks. But if you lack perspective, then Mars in Aquarius may feel like a sexual drought.
Three days later, mental Mercury falls into its exile in Pisces. Unfortunately, according to traditional astrology, Mercury does not feel fulfilled in its potential in Pisces. However, despite the traditional connotation of exile being a con, there are still pros to Mercury in Pisces. Now reporting to both Jupiter and Neptune, Mercury takes on a whimsical, hopeful approach. The rose-colored glasses are on as Mercury views the world through a watery lens. Visionary and intuitive, Mercury in Pisces weaves in and out of communicative matters with a gentle fluidity. Conversations are fantastical as Mercury in Pisces prefers a sentimental mindset and tone. This could be the perfect transit to speak openly about art, poetry, spirituality, mysticism, healing, or imagination. Since Mercury in Pisces can carry a soft voice, you may find that you are not as aggressive or forthright in conversation. Taking a backseat approach, Mercury in Pisces intuitively speaks up when it feels safe and necessary to do so. Verbiage is poetic, tinged with a rosy hue. So, you may feel more emotional when speaking or conveying your ideologies in an overly Shakespearian manner. As a result, the logic behind each conversation could be lost in translation, especially with Jupiter and Neptune also in Pisces. Mercury in Pisces can be a little too elusive, perhaps lending more to interpretation than needed. This may result in one too many grey areas, miscommunication, diluted directions, and unclear expectations. Intuitively navigating each Mercurial aspect can help, but it may not be enough. Luckily, non-sensical Mars in Aquarius can always cut to the chase if needed. If you struggle to convey your thoughts and feelings, then use Mercury in Pisces to take a more artistic approach. Find a poem or song to say what needs to be said, create a work of art to display your feelings, or meditate to reflect on your communication skills.
There’s a bit of a lull between Mercury’s ingress, but the next major transit is the full moon in Virgo on March 18. Full moons represent a six-month lunar cycle closing or peaking. It can revolve around the end of a chapter or cycle in your own life. Full moons can even come with an accomplishment or milestone to represent the progress made. The smidge of earthy energy during Pisces season is perfect for quite literally bringing things back down to earth. Virgo themes of service, health, organization, boundaries, and work come into focus. Hopefully, by the full moon, each person is leaving their people-pleasing habits in the past. Now is the time to release habits like taking on more work than you can accommodate, living a disorganized lifestyle, forgoing your health to meet others’ needs, and lacking general boundaries. Instead, the full moon in Virgo is the call to honor service to the self as well as others. The Pisces-Virgo split is indicative of prioritizing healthy habits. But healthy habits are usually the ones that sustain an individual’s personal emotional, mental, and psychological well-being. Use the lunation to manifest a routine or schedule that puts your needs then meeting a reasonable number of objectives in other areas of your life. I suggest lighting a green or white candle while planning out your schedule. You could use a planner, a computer, or whatever you feel is the best way to plan a healthy, productive daily routine. Green crystals should also be used to help alleviate the anxiety of the heart and mind during the full moon.
The moon will also trine Pluto in Capricorn, giving life to our emotional states and intuition. Tiny but mighty Pluto demands to be considered, empowering or disempowering the lunar energy as it sees fit. Together, Luna and Pluto can help one another turn a new leaf. Pluto’s highly transformative energy can fixate on what needs to die, allowing Luna to then focus on what should be cultivated instead. Regardless, expect emotions to feel immense, even overwhelming. But since this is an earth trine, working through grave emotional states and appraisals is plausible as Virgo and Capricorn prefer a rational perspective.
The Rising signs will experience the ending of a cycle in these Houses:
- Aries Rising: 6th House of Work, Daily Grind, Routine, Healthy Habits/Practices, Pets
- Taurus Rising: 5th House of Joy, Fun, Hobbies, Past-Times, Pregnancy/Children, Dating/Romance, Drama
- Gemini Rising: 4th House of Home, Family, Heritage, Mother/Mother-Figure
- Cancer Rising: 3rd House of Neighborhood, Local Community, Local/Short-Distance Travel, Communication, & Siblings
- Leo Rising: 2nd House of Personal Finances, Financial Security, Material Items, Personal Property, Values
- Virgo Rising: 1st House of the Self & Perception
- Libra Rising: 12th House of Self-Undoing, Hidden Enemies, Hidden Weaknesses, Hidden Talents
- Scorpio Rising: 11th House of Greater Community, Friends, Friend Groups, Social Groups, Technology, Dreams, Humanity
- Sagittarius Rising: 10th House of Career, Legacy, Recognition, Public Status
- Capricorn Rising: 9th House of Long-Term Travel, Higher Education, Spirituality, Law, Ethics, Morals, Beliefs
- Aquarius Rising: 8th House of Merging, Joint Assets/Finances, Marriages/Divorces, Taboo, Occult, Psychology, Sexual Bonds
- Pisces Rising: 7th House of Contracts, Commitments, Partners (of all kinds)
Happy astrological new year! On March 20, the sun leaves the subconscious asylum in Pisces for the blazing glory of Aries. Now exalted and reporting to Mars, the sun in Aries is like a breath of fresh air. Bold and courageous, Aries season is the time to begin anew. Time to step into your authenticity, your identity, and your confidence. Nothing can stand in the way when you are embracing the true power of the Ram!
To round out the month, Mercury also enters Aries on March 27. After spending its exile in the la-la land of Pisces, Mercury is ready to fly the coop! Now reporting to minor malefic Mars, Mercury is taking on a rushed, combative tone. Bold and courageous, Mercury in Aries doesn’t hesitate to swing at a moment’s notice. This is the Mercury transit to take a major stand, to fight for what you believe in and know to be true! It’s also the type of transit that can lead to foot-in-mouth syndrome since Mercury in Aries may accidentally, impulsively jump right in without knowing the full story. Regardless, Mercury in Aries carries a self-assurance tone, confident in its leadership abilities and Mercurial skills. Take charge in conversation with an assertive presence instead of an aggressive one. The fiery pace extends to the mental mind as Mercury’s processing is rapid. Infused with the Aries energy, Mercury’s mind quite literally rams its way through different thoughts, opinions, and perspectives. Instinctual and quick, Mercury in Aries can process anything in the blink of an eye. But the catch is not acting on a whim since Mercury in Aries can become impulsive.
